Fort Worth, TX
We offer virtual or in-person inspection at no charge
When MoldBusters comes to do an inspection we will first talk about any places where you have seen mold and look for any plumbing leaks or anywhere that moisture may be lingering in the home. The most obvious areas are in bathrooms, under sinks, and in laundry rooms. We will also check air ducts to see if any mold is present there. If you see something in your home but you aren’t sure if it is mold call us and we can come and check it out. Most of the time, all we need to do to determine whether there is mold present within your home is to do a visual inspection. In fact, many times we can do the entire inspection virtually without even having to come to your home.
So when do you need to get a mold inspection? Here are a couple of situations when a mold inspection may be necessary:
When purchasing a new home.
When there has been a water leak in your home.
When there has been minor or major flooding.
If the home has been unoccupied for some time

A Bit About Mold
Between indoor plumbing and leaks from outdoor weather… dampness and water within a home, at some point, are inevitable. Water can easily get trapped between walls, get sucked into the dark spaces in a home such as drywall, insulation, and carpet, and stagnate… creating a perfect environment for mold growth. Mold spores are found naturally in the outdoor air and, therefore, are also found inside homes. Where these damp, dark conditions exist mold grows and flourishes, growing to levels that cause health problems for you and your family.
Mold spores can be thick in the air even before there is visible evidence of mold being present. That mold gets into your body through the air you breathe, or the food you eat, or simply by getting on your skin. Studies have been done on what effect mold can have on people, especially young children. Some conditions that have been linked to mold include respiratory problems, chronic wheezing and coughing, and asthma.
This may seem like scary stuff, and it can be. Luckily there is an easy solution. Mold Busters offers mold removal and remediation services throughout Fort Worth and the Tarrant County area. With our service, everything in your house can be left right where it is. No need to cover furniture, or take down pictures off of the wall. Most jobs can be done within a few hours, leaving your home and your air clean and clear.

A visual inspection by a trained and certified mold inspector may suffice.
There are only three reasons to conduct a mold test.
- You need the mold tests to submit and win a claim for your home insurance company.
- Your doctor wants to know the type of mold and or mycotoxins so that s/he can treat you accordingly.
- You want to know if it is a job you can do yourself. If it is dangerous mold then, you should have done professionally. While if it is a more benign mold you may be able to save a little money by tackling it on your own.
Eli did a mold test on one of our rental properties. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and patient. I wouldn’t consider hiring anyone else.
After we repaired all of the leaks and cleaned the AC units, ducts, and vents. We scheduled Eli. He explained his testing process and the different services his company offers. He called while he was there to ask questions about the mold concerns. A few days later he called us with the results. He explained every number on the test results, and gave us advice on what our options were. This has been a very stressful situation for us. Eli didn’t just give us the mold test results, he gave us peace of mind, hope, and confidence that this problem can be resolved.
